Last day working on a WordPress plugin project BWL Knowledgebase Manager that has some custom functionality developed by WordPress custom post type features. Everything was going fine in the admin area. Unfortunately, I found a fatal error while checking custom post type pages in front end of my website.
Something was going wrong and custom post type pages return 404 page error. Doing research on this issue about 2 hours finally I found the solution to solve 404 issue and realize It’s not a big deal to solve that custom post type 404 issue. Here goes the steps to resolve 404 issue.
Step 01. Logged In to the WordPress admin panel.
Step 02. Go to Settings>Permalink section. Select Default Radio button and press Save Changes button.
Step 03. Then again Select Post Name Radio button and press Save Changes button.
Step 04. Go to front end of your site and check. Your issue will be solved.
