Hi, In the past days months, I bookmarked some important and interesting jQuery plug-ins or usages to deal with image manipulation, editing or effects. Today I’m sharing this list with you.
jParallax turns a selected element into a ‘window’, or view port, and all its children into absolutely positioned layers that can be seen through the view port. These layers move in response to the mouse, and, depending on their dimensions (and options for layer initialization), they move by different amounts, in a parallax y kind of way.
his plugin will resize and scale targeted images to their max width according to the image ratio, the browser size and some simple options. Change the size of your browser to see it’s effect.
Jcrop is the quick and easy way to add image cropping functionality to your web application. It combines the ease-of-use of a typical jQuery plugin with a powerful cross-platform DHTML cropping engine that is faithful to familiar desktop graphics applications.
These elements could be anything you want, e.g. images, list-items, divs. Simply produce your own slideshow for your portfolio gallery or advertising. Create a news ticker or do an animation.
